With the world constantly changing around us right now, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), it’s hard to determine what everyone’s next moves will be. Here at Oak Creek Veterinary Care, we try our best to stay on top of current activities and determine the best ways to accomodate you and your pets. With that being said, there are a few updates that we would like to announce.
For the month of April, our clinic was closed on Saturdays. Starting the month of May and continuing forward, we will resume usual operating hours all week. Clinic hours are as follows: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm, Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm.
We are also back up and running for surgical procedures. If you have been holding off on any kind of procedure, including spay/neuter, dentals or even growth removals, please feel free to contact our office, and we can assist in setting these up as soon as available.
We would also like to touch on the subject of nail trims. A recent update gave pet groomers the ability to reopen their facilities if desired. This has brought us numerous calls, requesting to know if our clinic is offering nail trims again. As of right now, we are still not able to accommodate nail trims for your pets, unless they are in for a visit with the doctor. Reason for this is that our appointment lengths are consistently longer than usual, as visits are still being done via phone and take a bit more time. With appointments taking longer, our technicians are not as available as they would normally be for side appointments, and are unable to take that extra time away from pets in appointments.
We will be sure to provide any updates as they arise and thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding. Please take care and be safe!
