Whenever your pet is admitted for surgery, we want you to know that they have a caring team that begins with your veterinarian and includes a certified veterinary technician and additional support staff. During an anesthetic procedure, your pet will have continuous, dedicated anesthesia monitoring, including blood pressure, EKG, Capnography, SPO2, IV fluid, and heat support. General monitoring continues until they are picked up by you, at which time a technician will go over written instructions on how to provide care to your pet at home.
If you have questions about your pet’s care, the Heartwood Animal Hospital team is always here to help. We encourage you to contact us today with your questions and we’ll be happy to talk with you about any concerns you may have.
We know surgery never feels routine. Here at Oak Creek Veterinary Care, we never treat it that way.
