It’s been a busy summer here at OCVC, so we haven’t had the chance to introduce some of the latest members of our team. We’ve recently added three veterinary technicians and an additional receptionist to our team. Welcome to Jessica, Aelric, and Aubrie, our new technicians, and Robyn, or new receptionist! Check out our staff here!

And don’t forget! We are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association—the only organization to accredit companion veterinary hospitals!

According to AAHA’s website, unlike human hospitals, animal hospitals are not required to be accredited—and the majority of them aren’t! We know your pets deserve the best care, which is why we chose to open our clinic in Oak Creek in 2015 and why we also chose to undergo the extensive steps necessary to become accredited by AAHA. AAHA evaluates a clinic on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence before it awards accreditation to a clinic. AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the industry and are consistently at the forefront of advanced veterinary medicine. AAHA’s standards address patient care and pain management, surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, medical records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental care, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, and continuing education. To maintain accredited status, the accredited hospitals must undergo comprehensive on-site evaluations periodically, so we must diligently continue to practice our higher standards of care.

Only 12%–15% of all practices in the U.S. are accredited!! For more information on AAHA’s standard of excellence or to find out if your current vet is AAHA-accredited, view AAHA’s site:

Don’t you want the best for your pet? We hold ourselves to a higher standard—your pets deserve nothing less! Choose Oak Creek Veterinary Care as your pet’s clinic.
