Dr. Burguete is now excited to offer Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) for dogs and cats, which includes acupuncture and herbal therapy. Dr. Burguete trained at the Chi Institute of TCVM and will continue to enhance her knowledge in this area as a veterinarian.
Acupuncture is most commonly used for musculoskeletal problems and pain relief but also can be used to treat various disease conditions, including, but not limited to, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, neurologic disorders, and geriatric conditions. Acupuncture therapy is frequently combined with Chinese Herbal Medicine for maximum effect.
Dr. Burguete prefers to use an integrated approach for most patients, incorporating western diagnostics and medications and providing treatments using both traditional (western) and alternative (eastern) treatments. Dr. Burguete is happy to discuss the treatment options available and will work with owners to provide the best possible treatment for each pet.
Please call our animal hospital at 414-301-9113 today to schedule an appointment with Dr. Burguete to learn more about how TCVM can help your pet!
And don’t forget about our Share The Care program! If you are currently a client and refer someone for treatment at Oak Creek Veterinary Care, you’ll each get $25 off your services! So, spread the word that we now offer Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine!
